DD is 13 days today and I am still waking up drenched. By the morning I feel disgusting.

The first few days I was home I would also get a bout of chills in the afternoon but those stopped by about 8 days PP.

Is it ok not to get them? 5 days pp and no sweats. My feet are very swollen still so I almost wish I were sweating it out.

I get them sporadically. Very bad but only happened a few times. I'm 3w 3d pp.

I'm 1w2d pp and I've only had them once so far. I'm actually freezing more times than not, which is super unlike me.

3 weeks PP tomorrow, and still having night sweats. The chills have calmed way down, but I had them really bad last night after waking up in a puddle of sweat. It's gross. I didn't have any of this when Skippy was a newborn, but it's been a rough few weeks adjusting to my hormones this time.

@selina1114 - It's completely normal to not have sweats at all. My feet were disgustingly swollen for 9 days after my C-section. I made wee constantly and it got rid of the swelling.

Never got them. I encapsulated my placenta and feel like that could be why. My hormones leveled out as soon as I started taking the pills.

I'm so glad this was posted. 10 days pp and I got my first chills/night sweats last night and thought I was going crazy. I had no idea this was a thing.

7 weeks and still get them. Not as often or as bad though. But it is not uncommon for you to get them when you're nursing or need to nurse,my ob told me that.

Also i had pre e so I was prone to have them after to help get rid of the extra fluid.

@MrsMeatball41‌ - I did not know they were associated with nursing.

If they at least get better soon I will be happy. Every time I wake up at night I am drenched in sweat again. I have to keep switching out my pillows it is so bad.

Somehow it's tied to hormones. Idk I thought I was going crazy sitting in a pool of sweat and poor Bekah is wet too haha. It'll get better. Drink lots of water and don't get overheated
