Misbehaving pets

I love my cats and they're very gentle around LO, they don't get too close, they're always careful to walk around her when she is on the couch in her boppy and they don't mind sharing a lap with me and LO using them as a footstool.

However tonight they decided it was a good idea to knock the formula off the counter and start eating it when it spilled open.  Of course I cannot separate the parts they may have licked so that's a $30 container of formula in the trash!

Have your pets ruined anything of LO's yet, or misbehaved since LO has been home?

October 2012 Metformin 1500 mg= ovulation on CD34 BFP#2 11/14/12 9DPO, EDD 7/26/13, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks, our angel born sleeping 3/24/13 @ 22wks 2d. BFP #3 7/4/13 8DPO EDD 3/22/14, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks. started insulin @16 wks.  Our rainbow, born 3/19/14 @ 39wks 6d., we're so in love!

    Stella has been great for the most part, but I do have to say "Don't lick the baby" several times a day. She still manages to sneak up and slurp the bottom of his feet. Weird dog.

    Ours has been standoffish. I totally let him kiss all over the babe! I actually taught my dog to give kisses on command and I am one if those crazies that gets kisses on my face. I get him to give his baby sister kisses all the time. I can't wait for them to be able to play together!

    My dog has only chewed up 1 pacifier so far which is better than I expected. We've been good about keeping things out of his reach.
    Our cat however has pooped on the area rug in LO's room. He obviously ate something that didn't agree with him & in the middle of the night relieved himself on the light grey shag rug. He's terrible about letting us know when he needs to go out. When LO he had a severe accident in DD bathroom & then right outside the door he vomited. It was almost like his poop grossed him out so bad it made him throw up, lol. It was funny but not funny all at the same time. He hasn't been in the house at night since. He's mostly outside cat anyway but sometimes we forget to put him out before bed but not anymore.

    We have several handmade crocheted blankets for LO. Our dog Ioves blankets so she thinks Emma's blankets are hers. We have to be careful with where we leave them around the house.

    Preston found a bag of Hershey's nuggets in my moms bag when she went to a rummage sale on Friday and ate 8 chocolates. Ugh sick dogs on new carpet are no fun. I think my mom learned her lesson. Preston however will not, he has scoped out chocolate before :(

    My pup has been really great so far. I was so nervous because he's definitely a mama's boy and I didn't know how he'd react to having to share me with someone else, but he's taking it in stride. He even tries to give DS his paw and often tries licking his hands/face. He likes to guard the nursery door while we do tummy time, too. He's a protective big brother.

    Beau has been amazing so far! He chewed up a binky a tiny bit, but we just washed it off and our baby still uses it. He likes to sniff her, and lick her, but won't go near her unless we're holding her. The main thing I was worried about was him wanting to snuggle with the baby. He's BIG on cuddling, which is nice until you realize he's a 70 lb lab!

    My dog takes advantage of me nursing all the time.  As soon as I sit in my spot and start nursing, he gets on the couch or in DS1's anywhere chair or starts nosing the trash.  I'll yell at him and he just looks away and pretends he can't hear me and knows I'm not going to get up and grab him.  He also found a diaper in my bedroom that I had left after a MOTN change and ate it!
