5 weeks pregnant after 2 early m/c and 2 healthy babies...terrified.

so long story short we had our baby boy march 2009, easy pregnancy with no issues. sadly he passed away right before his 1st birthday from a hernia. In 2011 we got a surprise BFP but at 6 weeks we lost the baby. after that we decided we wanted to start ttc, it took almost 1 full year to get our next BFP and again at 6 weeks we lost the baby. Finally 4 months later we got pregnant with our beautiful little girl who is now almost 13 months old

Here we are again with a surprise BFP, but def happy about it, but i am terrified. i have had 2 perfectly healthy pregnancies and 2 m/c at 6 weeks, so all i can think about i what symptoms i have and do not have and im scared everytime i got to the bathroom that i will see blood. i went though all of this with my last pregnancy and everything ended up being fine but i am just scared of losing another baby. anyone else been in this kind of situation? im only 5 weeks, 2 days so i know symptoms usually dont really get bad until 8+ weeks but so far im just a little extra tired, very moody, and sore breasts a couple times, and my dr appt in 3 weeks just seems like forever away!!!! thanks for listening to my vent.

I am so sorry for your losses. You've been through a lot. It is definitely normal to be anxious about the "what ifs". Just try to take it day by day. T&P for you. ((Hugs))

so sorry for your losses. that is absolutely heartbreaking. i am 4 wk 6 days pregnant and just went today for bloodwork. i go back mon for more but as the dr told me today even if everythg looks good it can't tell me what may happen in a few weeks. i have a daughter born in feb 09 and a son in mar 11. i had a chemical preg. oct 2012 and then a miscarriage may 2013 baby didn't have a heartbeat when i went in at 9 wk ultrasound. Then i had another miscarriage in nov 2013 at 6 wks i just started bleeding. i kept telling myself i should just be happy i have 2 beautiful children but my heart has always wanted 3 children. so i am hoping this baby will stick. I am constantly concerned everytime i go to the bathrm.. it's going to be a long 3 weeks til i go for ultrasound

Thanks everyone. Woke up this morning went to the bathroom and had a glob of discharge with a streak of blood in it, sorry if tmi, no spotting since but still freaking out a little bit, trying to stay calm cause i know women spot and everything works out for them but with my 2 healthy pregnancies i never spotted once and of course with the 2 miscarriages it started with brown spotting. I will say it was not brown this time, just a tinge of red in the discharge. Gonna wait it out and see what happens and if anything else goes on will be seeing my dr on mon. Fingers crossed!

Just realized that i BD yesterday for the first time since BFP....that could totally be why i had the blood tinged discharge. Hopeful thinking atleast! Youd think id remember all this stuff with this being my 5th pregnancy lol. Hugs to all. I will keep those of you watching posted. Ty for the support! Love this site.for the encouragement : )

I am so sorry for your losses. Congrats on your pregnancy. I am pregnant for the sixth time without any living children (other than the sweet baby I am pregnant with) and being PGAL is very hard. I think what helps me most is to remember that every pregnancy is different and just because your pregnancies had sad endings before, doesn't mean that this pregnancy will end the same way. I remember speaking with my RE about this fear too and she said that the odds are in our favor to have a healthy rainbow even if our past makes us feel like all the rare things happen to our babies. I am praying and thinking positive thoughts for you.

Thank you! Have not had anymore spotting.or anything just the one blood streaked dc yesterday morning and im actually starting to feel a little queasy so im feeling better aboit.it.today. one day at a time! Im pregnant today and i love my baby!
