Not a very happy Freedom Friday

So we had our 3rd IUI this cycle. I was hopeful because it is the first time with clomid. But I just poas and it was negative. Even hubby who had been more positive than I am throughout this was so shocked. I am so depressed and couldn't sleep at 3am and browsing FB, then saw one lady whom I had met when DD was born, and whose son is one day younger than my DD, is going to have another baby this month. I feel like someone just punched me in the stomach :( I don't think I can sleep the rest of the night anymore. Next stop, IVF.
Me: 38, DH: 41
TTC#2 since Feb 2013
10/13: 1st IUI, BFN
02/14: 2nd IUI, BFN
03/14: HSG done, found out right tube is slightly blocked
04/14: 3rd IUI, BFN
05/14: 4th IUI, BFN
07/14: IVF no. 1, BFN
11/14: IVF no. 2, BFP

    :( I get it, I am last to have kids and after 7 years of IF and 5 rounds IVF one kid. Be kind to yourself and try not to hold yourself to others milestones- you'll only drive yourself crazy. When do you start IVF?

    I'm sorry. I know how terrible that is. My friend who's DD is 3 days older than my DD just announced she's having her second and I can't stop thinking about it.

    I'm sorry to hear this, and I completely understand.  I've been down the IVF road, and we had success after failed IUI.  But no matter what, it is stressful emotionally, physically, and financially.  I wish you and DH the best.

    12/3/14 - first u/s - two gestational sacs; 12/17/14 - two healthy heartbeats (132 and 134)

    Thank you all for the replies ladies.


    @Momarazzi IVF consultation is scheduled for end of this month. I'm hoping to start from June cycle, but might need to postpone it until July due to work travel schedule.

    We were hoping we wouldn't have to go through IVF coz this year we are in a bit of a financial pickle :(

    I totally get that. Financial aside, if they have you do suppression cycle your transfer won't be until July anyway, so keep that in mind while planning! Keep us updated and I'll be rooting for good news for you at your appt!!!

    I'm so sorry.  Seeing other people have the good things we long for only highlights the heartache while we wait.  I hope your IVF consult goes well.

    Planning medicated cycle end of summer.  FX I get KU before then!!!
