Am a really positive and trusting person, however, have been incredibly afraid of hospitals, "forced inductions", etc and as a FTM was ready to go in fighting. What happened, I couldn't of imagined...my experience was amazing!

Went into L/D at 2:30am because I was leaking slight mucus and water for about 5 hours, but wasn't convinced it was my water. Debated about holding out until I had real contractions and boy, I didnt last long before we made the trip.

After we arrived I was still debating an epi until I felt a huge contraction. I was at 5cm. Next, we received our room, and the epidural about 30 min later. One hour after that I was told I was at a 7. Next hour, full 10 and a minus two station. But, the baby's heart rate was dropping.
They used a peanut ball on me, had me switch sides and breathe oxygen and it helped. They used a suction cup on his head but he is healthy, happy and sleepy!

My doctor arrived and we did 6 big sets of 3 pushes, I heard her do an episotiomy (2nd degree) and by 7:05, baby was almost out.

I'm so in love and am now feeling all of the pain. So worth it!
