my hubby made his famous lasagna!....can I eat it? it has ricotta cheese in it... I did my research and websites say conflicting things about it. thanks
It's only UNpasteurized soft cheese that needs avoided.
In the USA, virtually all cheeses are pasteurized; you would have to consciously seek out unpasteurized cheese from specialty stores, the stuff you buy at grocery stores or restaurants is pasteurized.
And furthermore, it's cooked, so it wouldn't matter if it's pasteurized or not.
Re: silly question
And now I want lasagna. With goat cheese!
