Speech therapy is expensive!

BD and I spend almost hundred dollars a session, 2 sessions a week. I'm very thankful that the district is gonna get involved and help us so we can receive cheaper but equal services. Its just annoying having this waiting game and wondering how long till she can start services, I feel like there is constantly one delay after another. Ugh so frustrating.

DD had her evaluation and all paperwork they gave me is filled out. They told me that they will contact me about setting up times. Its been a week now and I'm waiting. I want her to start asap.

We are very fortunate that our insurance covers 30 sessions a year at 90% after our deductible is met. We needed 9 extra sessions last year for a social skills group. With a 50% discount for preparing it was $860. If we included that amount we more than met our Out of Pocket Maximum last year.

This years shaking out to be a little cheaper but we still met our $3100 deductible by the end of April.

With Ezra's ABA therapy we will meet our deductible in.... 5 days.
