@snegde, I'm sorry your RE sucks and that your IUI was cancelled. ((HUGS))

I'm in the same place I was when I intro-ed last week, really. I currently have a cyst that caused us to cancel IUI#4 this cycle. I'm seeing no sign of O at all, and just waiting out this cycle and hoping AF shows at some point. I don't know what's next for us. We're still thinking about donor eggs but aren't yet ready to make any decisions.

@HeyMrsPotter- I'm so sorry your IUI was cancelled as well. Is the cyst causing a lot of pain?

As for me, I stopped BCP last Friday, started Letrazole Sunday (and stopped it Thursday), and started stimming meds Wednesday. I had my first u/s today and I seem to be responding slower than I had in the past, but I have to remind myself we're wanting quality over quantity. We had a mishap with one of the meds and lost about half, which sucks. I may have to pay $200 to buy more.

Hi ladies. I'm about 7dpo, natural cycle, timing was ok. Of course I'd love a bfp, but keep thinking I want AF to show so we can get IUI 2 going...if my cysts are gone that is.

I had a horrible shopping trip yesterday. I could not find pants that fit. I work out 4x weekly and eat healthy. I have no idea why I'm not losing like I used to. I feel like anxiety and depression are hitting me hard. So much that I've considered seeing a psychiatrist. Even outside of ttc though, medications are a touchy subject and possible slippery slope for me.

Marriage therapy was rough last night. Good, but rough. I at least feel like the therapist is competent. We're really addressing all of our differences in communication.

@snegde‌ I completely understand being in focused mode. I can't wait to hear about your IVF appt

Hi ladies,

I'm ok I suppose. Having a crazy PCOS cycle. Had one pos OPK on CD 19, then no temp shift, then for shits and giggles I POAS CD 23 and had another pos OPK. I had a temp shift, but went down a bit this am and CM doesn't seem to fit. I'm confused and FF is confused. Ugh. I've been having good cycles since coming off BCP so I'm disapointed this cycle is probably a bust.

@HeyMrsPotter sorry about the cyst and canceled IUI. I think I'm having cyst related issues as well.

Hello @uneek1323‌ thanks for running check-in!

I had my SHG/SIS Thursday, and it was painful as hell. I took 2 Tylenol 3's before hand and it definitely did not cut it. I wanted to punch my OB out for lying about the pain. She also angered me because I could hear her and the radiologist whispering during the procedure but couldn't make out what they were saying. She told me we will discuss the results at my follow up May 21st, but she did tell me I had a 14mm follicle on my left ovary. Because of this DH's SA has been pushed back a week. My OB told me I "needed his sample more than they did". Thanks. Even though I didn't get the results from the sono I am hoping it was clear since she wants us to try on our own this cycle.

@snegde‌ sorry your RE dropped the ball, but I'm glad you are able to keep yourself distracted for the time being.
@HeyMrsPotter‌ ((Hugs)) hopefully your cyst isn't too painful.

@taterbtb, I'm sorry your procedure was painful and that your OB hasn't been very forthcoming as of yet. There's nothing like hearing whispered words that you know are about yourself while your feet are in the stirrups. A well-timed kick to their foreheads would not have been out of line, IMO! But I agree, the fact that she wants you to try with the current follie would make me hopeful that things looked clear. FX for good results on the 21st.

@jbasore1123, FX for some high-quality follies for you.

@GrailSeeker14, mid-way through the 2WW can be the hardest place...((HUGS)) and GL.

@rachaeleigh, I'm sorry that pants shopping and marriage therapy were both difficult. FX that this is your cycle and those cysts are gone.

@shanorfml2, I'm sorry about the crazy cycle. I hope that chart starts to look a little less confusing soon.

As for my cyst, it was moderately painful a week or so ago but it's been feeling better lately, so I guess that's good.

@snegde I'm sorry your IUI was canceled and you're dealing with so much. I'm here anytime you want to talk or vent, as an alternative to cutting someone.

@HeyMrsPotter I hope the cyst goes away soon and you either O or start a new cycle. Waiting sucks.

@jbasore1123 That really sucks about the meds. Hopefully everything else goes smoothly for you.

@GrailSeeker14 FX for you, and I'm glad your dissertation is at least giving you some distraction!

@Rachaeleigh I'm sorry that therapy was rough, as well as the pants shopping. I hope you're able to get your anxiety and depression under control, and FX those cysts are gone.

@shandorfml2 I'm sorry you're having a weird cycle. FX that you did O with that second surge.

@taberbtb Sorry the SHG was painful, but FX for you this cycle!

AFM, I am currently waiting to O on a natural cycle with IUI. I got an almost +OPK this morning, so I'm thinking it will be + later and I will have my IUI tomorrow. That would be good for timing for this cycle, but not for next cycle due to DH's travel schedule. If I O this early, we will probably miss next cycle by a day or two. I'm contemplating asking my RE for progesterone just to get a couple of extra days on my LP so next cycle won't be shot. I am not sure if this makes me crazy or just clever.

@HeyMrsPotter Welcome. Sorry that the IUI was cancelled. That is so frustrating. I hope that you’re able to make a decision that you feel comfortable with. That would be such a difficult decision to make.

@jbasore1123 Wishing you lots of good growing vibes! FX that even though you’re slowly responding, that you get some great quality eggs in there. And boo to the med mishap!

@GrailSeeker14 Good luck! Try not to second guess yourself regarding the dissertation. There’s nothing wrong with doing something you’re passionate about. You’ll probably look back and maybe groan at all the work it took, but feel pleased that you followed your heart.

@rachaeleigh ((Hugs)) for all that you’re going through right now. I’m sorry that you’re struggling. FX for you during the rest of the 2WW, even though you’re not feeling optimistic yourself.

@shandorfml12 How frustrating for you. I can see that you have a good temp shift now, so I’m glad your body got it together.

@taberbtb Good luck at the follow-up appointment. Sorry that it was so painful for you. I’ve heard that people have different experiences with it, so maybe the OB was trying to just make you not worried. But TP to her for whispering and not telling you what’s going on.

@laromana09 Yay for a positive OPK! Good luck! I don’t think you’re crazy for asking for progesterone to extend your cycle by a couple of days.

I did something like this once, so I'll call it clever.

I was already prescribed progesterone but took it for a couple of extra days, with the RE's permission, to ensure better timing for next cycle. Alternatively, could our would you consider having DH freeze a sample before he leaves?

@HeyMrsPotter It looks like it may not be a problem (FX) because I think the "almost positive" was a false alarm. I took another one this afternoon and it's still not + so hopefully it will hold off for a couple of days, which would make me feel much better about our timing for next cycle. We will freeze if that's our only option, but if we'll literally be missing it by a day or 2, I'd rather get creative.

It makes me feel better that if this one doesn't work out, at least I have a plan already set-up. I'm currently on CD 14 and my OPK was pretty dark, but definitely not positive, so I'm hoping for a positive tomorrow or maybe Wednesday. We're leaving for vacation soon and am looking forward to having a nice distraction during the 2WW (hopefully).
