Another baby is here!

At the ripe old age of 40, I just delivered a healthy baby boy. Alexander Edward was 6 lbs, 5 oz, 19.5 inches long. He came 17 days early. My water broke at home at about 8:20, and he was born at 1:45 that afternoon. Only complication was a high blood pressure spike, but that happened with DD, too, and it's well-controlled with medication. I'm hoping we go home today! I can't wait for my new little family of 4 to have our first snuggle in our bed at home!
