When can kids use a scooter?

I saw some scooters very cheap on a resale site.

Would DS be able to use one any time soon?

My niece just turned 4 in April and she's been using the one MIL got her for Christmas for a few months now. It's a 3 wheeled one.

DD has a 3 wheeled one (she's 35 but used it since a little before 3) she loves it

DS2 had a radio flyer first scooter around 3, I think. He's 5 and uses a regular scooter now.

My niece got a three wheeled scooter for christmas this year when she was about 3.5. She does well on it.

I think Daphne first rode hers... when she was 2.5 yrs old. We started with it in the house.

DD got one for Christmas but we couldn't bring it out until recently. She's 3y1m and can use it. She's not great, she doesn't glide on it or anything, but she has lots of fun.

my kid steals my brother's razor and while she can't really use it very well, she has a blast on it.
