WWF match going on in my belly today...

I get tons of movement from little Olivia, but two time have been crazy. A couple weeks ago she flipped from breech to regular upside down and I thought my uterus was going to flop out of my belly button. Today she has rotated. It used to be she hit and kicked on my right side and bumped me with her bum on the left. Now she's matched her spine with mine (upside down still, I think) and you can see the kicks centered at the top of my belly, right where my stomach is, and hit right above my
bladder.
It cracks me up! DH can watch her move and my belly contort from the other side of the couch. We have one spastic baby baking in there!
What are your favorite baby belly moments?

Give me grace, as a FTM I'm not used to this crazy alien in my belly thing! Haha :)

  • On the VERY rare occasion that I get to take a bath, I love to just sit and watch my belly bounce around and make subtle waves in the water.  It's much more noticeable now with #2 than it was with DS.  I guess my belly isn't as "firm".

  •  My little one is crazy active and always has been. At night when I lay down I can watch him kicking and punching at the same time.Dh looked at my stomach a fewweeks ago and could see it jumping in two places by my ribs and two by my hip and he was like is he doing freaking jumping jacks! lol

  • My LO is very active and has been for awhile now.  You can see my stomach moving all the time.  I love it. It is distracting sometimes though. Especially in meetings.

This is how I feel exactly. Love it so much, but can be distracting :)
  • I told DH I feel like i got ripped off with this anterior placenta. I feel and see LO move a lot but I think it'd be so much more without the AP.

This is exactly how I feel! I feel her move quite a bit but from what everyone else describes, mine feels muted and I blame my AP!

Especially since my bff is pregnant and she gets an octopus show nightly. I appreciate single kicks!

I need to ask at my appt about kick counts. I wonder if an AP affects it. Last time at 25 weeks I was told to try to count 3-4 within a half hour.

We counted kicks last night. Our OB said ten in two hours. We got ten in 3 minutes. Lol. This kid never stops.

I do not know much about AP, but I'm glad to hear that you all can still feel baby, even if it's just a bit. It has really helped my PGAL brain calm down!
  • Oh man, my girl did a somersault to the other night and I literally grabbed my stomach because it felt like it was going to fall out of me!

  • I do not have an anterior placenta but I barely feel her move.  My OB says as long as I feel her move at least once a day we are good.  I wanna feel her.

  • My little Ninja always moves around an my 2 kids seem to get a kick out it :D.
When Braxton H start to kick in I think I can't wait to get this kid out. Then at times I think I'm really gonna miss feeling her live in me.
  • My baby has a blast all day while I'm in school, I'm sure the kids across the class can probably see her jumpin in there, but I swear sometimes she pushes so hard that she's trying to break out of there, times like those my belly just looks completely lopsided
