Another reason to vaccinate!

https://time.com/86243/cdc-confirms-first-case-of-mers-infection-in-u-s/

Sad that we have to continually worry about regular viruses and diseases, on top of new and foreign ones as well!

I'm all for vaccinating but I don't think we vaccinate against this disease so not sure what the connection is?

  • MERS is new, its similar to SARS if I am not mistaken. There was no immunization for that, so who knows if we will have an immunization for it before it runs it course.

I am all for vaccinating, but if there is no immunization for that disease we can only protect ourselves through proper hygiene and even that is a gamble. But your right, it is sad that we are constantly worrying about being healthy and coming into contact with new diseases and illnesses.
  • I wasn't saying specifically for this as I know there is nothing available, I was just stating in general about how there is always something that is developing and that it's our job to protect ourselves and our LO's as much as possible.
