bleeding at 5 weeks...

anHello Everyone. You can see in my siggy that I am newly pregnant for first time from IVF. I am a little over 5 weeks and this week I started getting a little bit of bleeding. My ultrasound isn't until next week (6 weeks and 2 days) I am feeling a little anxious about it so I just wanted to see if any of you had this happen to you. I am still on my estrogen pill and progesterone inserts.  Thank you in advanced for your positive thoughts and comments.

IVF #1 ER 2/19/14, 34R, 33F, 21 on ice, Freeze All

    no advice, but hugs! hope everything is OK. i'm super paranoid about stuff like that - i know a bit of spotting can be normal but i would call the RE. GL

    I also bled some at about 6 weeks w my last pregnancy. It was really scary. Can your RE get you in for a blood draw and an earlier ultrasound? Mine did, which made me feel a lot better. I think it ended up just being irritation from the transfer.

    Try to keep your feet up, drink some water and relax.
    IVF, acupuncture, meditation and a miracle.

    I know they say with progesterone vaginally sometimes due to cervical irritation you can bleed. I can share with you that I was on PIO so not reason why for my bleeding. I had light spotting bright red from like 5 weeks to 14 weeks. It was often when I wiped when going to bathroom but would occassionally have to wear a liner. I didn't have a SCH, ob did say I would still be at risk for miscarriage with bleeding but we never found out the cause. I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant. Hugs and Best of luck I know it's super stressful even if someone tells you okay because you find yourself constantly checking to make sure it's not getting worse.

    No advice, just wanted to say I hope all's well. 
    DH and I are Americans living an adventure in Kenya since 2011
    DX: PCOS (annovulatory)
    Feb 2012: IUI #1 w/ only 1M sperm and a single follie = BFP! 
    Nov 2012: Little buddy born in Kenya
    Nov 2013: Trying for a second, still w PCOS
    Dec 2013: IUI cycle canceled for non-response
    Jan 2014: Break cycle BFP!

    I did have spotting from the progesterone suppositories and from a SCH after my IVF. Have you called your RE? Whenever I had spotting, my RE always got me right in for bloodwork and an u/s. Sending good thoughts.

    IVF with ICSI= BFP! EDD 11/25/11
    3/18- Beta #1 452! 3/20- Beta #2 1,026!! 3/27- First u/s- TWINS!
    Our twin boys arrived at 36w5d due to IUGR and a growth discordance

    FET: Medicated FET moved up to 5/23 due to ovulation
    Transferred a 6BB hatched blastocyst- genetically normal female embryo
    BFP! 5/28- 5dp6dt      
    6/1 Beta #1- 223! 6/3 Beta #2- 567!

    I bled around 7 weeks when we got pregnant after our IVF cycle.  I had a healthy little boy and my doctor said it is perfectly normal and try to stay calm.  I told him easier said then done but everything was fine.  Good luck
