I feel like LO has the rest of his life to dress like a man. I want to dress him like a baby as long as I can DH will let me!
I love anything smocked...here are some things I've purchased so far...
One of my friends is from the south and she dresses her boy like this. She says that where she's from they dress them a bit more polished and sometimes even frilly. She errs on the more masculine side of this, like your photos. So cute!
When I was perusing boy clothes I found that I really liked Gap. Because of stuff like this- I really love stripes for baby boys!

Yes, DH won't let me get away with anything too frilly!
I love these, not sure if it's preppy but I also agree with keeping them looking like little boys as long as possible, I'm not a fan of the punk looking stuff... Also I miss the old Gymboree stuff, my younger brother wore a lot of it, it was so colorful fun!
We registered for all neutral stuff, yellows and grays because that is our nursery theme, as much elephants as I can find too. I like the preppy look too, but I am not really into the bow ties. I like the little button down shirts and I am loving hoodies and zip up sweaters. I have been starting to hit up the garage sales as much as I can and have been getting some really cute stuff for amazing prices!
I don't mind some of the Carter's stuff for boys but honestly with daycare it sucks with every other kid dressed in the same stuff. Plus the cutesy sayings get old.
I've got a 14 month old son and we love overalls and union suits. Sorry, no pics, my mobile won't upload them. I particularly like Carters and Osh Kosh. But now that it's getting much warmer, we've done a lot more just diapers (we cloth diaper using gDiapers and they are so cute!).
I love both sleepers/rompers with cute animals/stripes/babyish stuff and little man clothes. I hate all the sayings a lot of boy clothes seem to be plastered with and graphic tees.

YES. My son is really into tools and construction right now and Target had a shirt over the winter that had tools all over it and then ruined it with "Mommy's Lil Handyman." Why did it have to say that? Old Navy is really bad about that too.
When DS was real little (newborn to 3-6 month-ish) he lived in Carters. I try to focus on comfort and fit, as well as style, but comfort is most important. As he got older, and now, my favorite places to shop for him are Children's Place, Gap (not often though, too expensive), and Old Navy. He has lots of solid/stripe/graphic tees, and I love the elastic waist cargo pants/shorts and plaid shorts. Here's some stuff he has for this summer (he is really into green right now):
My son at 3 1/2 We like preppy clothes (cannot wait to break out his navy whale print polo and pink shorts!) but at daycare it's tshirts and mesh shorts !

This is how I dress baby boys too. Finn and I'm sure #2 as well could give Prince George a run for his money in the clothing department.
I'm on mobile and it's not letting me post a pic but...
Yes, I love all of this! I do love knit sweaters/hats, overalls etc. but I couldn't agree more on dressing a baby like a baby. I'm sure there will be a bit of compromise as my SO probably won't love everything I do but we'll see
Not to offend anyone but in my opinion, there is nothing worse than seeing a brand new baby in a bikini or some ridiculous outfit. I find it to be worse for little girls. It makes me cringe. We only have precious little babies for a certain amount of time. Like PP said they have the rest of their lives to dress more grown!
