Dammit fedex. Why'd you have to break my sh*t!!!???

FedEx 1 Crib -4 4 parts dented. 4 parts have to be reordered. We should get them 3rd week of May. Fan flippin tastic. Word to you all, open boxes and report damages within 24 hours of delivery. FedEx didnt have me sign ( he didn't even ring my doorbell) and the boxes are torn up. Most delivery companies only allow 24 hours for concealed damages to be reported. Rant over

  • Fed ex sucks. They delivered my chair to the wrong address and told me that they had 48 hours to find it. 72 hours later a lady from the wrong address called me to tell me my box was there.

  • Yep, hate Fed Ex.  I wish more site allowed me to choose the shipping company instead of just the number of days to deliver.

    I ordered a large wooden monogram for over the crib, and it came broken today too :( Luckily, the Etsy shop will replace it. I would be so upset if it was a broken crib!

  • Ups isn't much better. I was waiting on medicine that has to be bring inside immediately and moved into the refrigerator(it can freeze if left with the ice packs to long or it can get to hot and make the medicine unusable). Ups didn't ring my doorbell when they dropped off the medicine so it could have been sitting outside for hours. Thankfully it was ok...but still plastered all over the box was HAZARDOUS.

  • Oh also when you have your baby shower, any large boxed items make sure you open them and make sure that what is on the box is in the box. A woman got a graco pack n play at her shower, didn't open the box for 6 months and when she did open it found a different brand pack n play in the box.

  • That sucks that the crib was broken and I had no idea about the 24 hour rule. My ups and fedex deliveries are usually pretty good, but don't get me started on USPS. I had 5 paychecks go missing, magazines show up a month late or not at all, and our postal worker does not ring the bell when there is a package that needs to be delivered. She just puts a note in our box saying that we weren't home when she tried and for us to pick it up at the post office. I have actually ran after her when I was waiting for things. But if things were broken, then I would go nuts.

  • Fed-Ex seems to be the worst in our area with wrong deliveries/damages. They left one of my neighbors' new laptops (very obviously a laptop, dell box) on my door step. No doorbell ring/note/signature. I haven't bothered dealing with Fed Ex over damage, but I have contacted manufacturers and have had good luck with companies willing to expedite new replacement parts for damaged items.
  • I immediately reported to wayfair.com and the customer service was awesome. They immediately ordered the replacement parts, and I got a confirmation email within minutes. Unfortunately, said parts aren't estimated to arrive until may 23. :(

  • In our area, UPS is the best and FedEx is good, except driving through the neighborhood at top speed.

    The UPS guy only only rings the bell if the dogs don't bark. If our dogs are outside he gives them dog biscuits.

    Our mail lady is good. She delivers packages to the front door, if the garage is open, she'll put it in the garage by the interior door. After asking, she now leaves the mail with the packages by the door:)

    During the holidays, a whole different story b/c we don't always have our regular people:(
