Even though I love being a SAHM, I'm insanely jealous of all the perks and benefits DH gets from his job. Like today he is at a theme park just having fun with everyone and getting paid for it. I'm great full that he has a job that he loves and treats him well but I'm still jealous.

I liked having my catheter in because it meant I didn't have to get up to pee. I begged them to keep it in as long as they were allowed to.
Ha! This was going to be my UO/FFFC. I was all about that catheter. And the crazy compression leg warmer thingys...what a weird sensation to come out of a morphine haze to your calves being squeezed every few seconds. It was awesome.
When DH is home, I often pretend the baby is still nursing after he's falling asleep on the boob so I can continue to sit down and relax while playing on my phone while DH takes care of DS1. He'd do it if I asked anyway, but this way I don't feel lazy .
I wore pants to the pedi that I dripped breastmilk all over the night before. I didn't care at all. I'm tired and only have 2 pairs of pants that currently fit.
ooooh okay- During my late night feeding session i opted against the healthy granola bar on bedside table and went into the kitchen to get a caramel brownie instead. The brownie i cut could have fed a small town.

Yesterday I pooped a textbook perfect poop. It was a perfect shade of brown, squiggled to the shape of my colon, and at least 18 inches long. I saw it and yelled for DH. He opened the bathroom door in a panic. I said, "look how awesome this poop is!" He just stared at me. I legit wanted to take a picture.

I have no clothes that fit and my porno sized boobs make me cry.
I hate being covered in breastmilk.
During labor I screamed that I hated the boy doctor (attending) [not because he was a male, but because he was a royal jerk] and only wanted the girl doctor (resident), pretty sure he heard me.
I don't ever know what day it is anymore. Thanks FFC for letting me know it's Friday.
I wish my husband would agree to taste my breast milk. I'm kind of interested to see if he could actually suck milk out of me. Homeboy is nipple-averse while I'm breastfeeding, though.

I asked to take my leg things home lol! Loved both not having to get up to pee, and having my legs squeezed!

I have had the same thoughts!
My friends husband tasted her bm and said it tasted like sugar water.

I am peeing myself right now, I meant to say BM for breast milk. Lol.
I slept from 1am-10am last night with only 2 bathroom trips. But I took a 2 hr nap this afternoon anyways just because I can. I'm still pregnant at 40+4 so I figure I should sleep now while I still can, right?

It's day 6 and everything is going great, except I hate breast feeding. I've switched almost exclusively to pumping, but it is so darn time consuming and stressful. I've already had a craked nipple and a clogged duct (thankfully resolved the latter) and it sucks. I honestly miss the confidence I felt while FF ds, and if it were not for the cost I would switch in a heart beat. Dh is so happy I'm breast feeding, and so understanding of my occasional melt down, I feel bad admitting how hard it is for me to keep up.
@AmberLiz99 it's a bitch for a while. It really is. But then one day you realize it's not been that bad all week, and from there on out is fabulous from a convenience standpoint. But in the mean time please do talk about how hard it is with anybody that will listen & be supportive- everybody seems to think it's this easy natural thing and it just isn't for a while.

My husband is begging me to let him try it straight from the boob. I keep telling him he can try it from a bottle but no way is he trying to get it straight from the source!
I pump during the week to have enough to indulge in some drinks once a week (3-4 over the course of that many hours)
I also sometimes have a glass of champs or two of champs a few times a week during the week.
On the bbt I noticed people hadn't Had more than a few drinks total! I feel like a lush!
Right? I was upset I asked lol. Glad to see some others here who have a few a week or even one a day.

Thanks. I'm just surrounded by all these friends who have only bf, and would never even talk about considering formula. It kind of makes me feel like a weakling or selfish when I bring it up around them.
I used my nipple pad to wipe spit up off my LO's face bc I didnt want to walk across rhe room to get the burp cloth. Also, I ate Reese's for breakfast.
This week I've had at least 2 glasses of wine a night. I'm EPing every 3-4 hours. My blessed boobies are making enough so that I can completely chunk what I pump after my wine and have enough from the rest of the day for DD. Also, my inlaws are staying at our apartment all week. FIL keeps complaining about how bored he is and that we need to go out and do stuff (DD will be 3 weeks old tomorrow and I'm still a little tender between the legs). I've nicely said that I'm all about meeting mine and DDs basic needs right now and he is free to go do whatever he wants. He won't leave but is still complaining... Hence the evening wine drinking. I'm ready to throw a royal bitch fit and let him have it. I cleaned up the kitchen after lunch, fed and changed DD and put her down, and started a load of laundry while they napped this afternoon. Isn't it supposed to be the opposite?
I've had a few glasses of wine since DD was born but not the martini I've been wanting. I've felt so dehydrated since the birth I figured I should wait. Tonight DH is taking me out while my MIL stays with the kids- beer and wings, yes please!

DH decided to stay up all night watching tv. I'm starving, but if I put the baby down, she will scream and he has to work a 12 hour graveyard shift. I'm either going to put her down and let her cry next to him, or "accidentally" let the dogs in. Sorry you decided to stay up all night, but I still have to live, so you are going to have to deal.
I've been trying to let him sleep. I even kept her cradled in one arm while I peed.
Feeling super dumb for thinking I wanted my kids so close together in age (20 months). DH goes back to work on Monday and I am scared to be left alone with both kids. What the hell was I thinking.
