Highs and lows - vent!

I don't even know where to start with this, but I think I need a Friday venting post... Please share your highs/lows/vents here!

Wednesday - DH got an amazing job offer, which has better insurance and will cover IVF (not sure if we need it yet)!!!

Thursday - My 2nd IUI. One of my best friends texted me that she is pregnant 10 minutes before heading out the door. Once the tears started, they wouldn't stop. I finally calmed myself down enough to go through with the IUI, and cried the whole way home and off an on all evening. DH thinks I'm losing it, but I just can't get over the shock of it, and the jealousy. This is baby #2 for them since we've started trying. And why she thought this would be good news right before my procedure is beyond me!

Friday - My car won't start. Which is great because our other car has been in the shop. So its still not fixed, but I'm driving it!

AND the cherry on top - I came home to a surprise delivery on my doorstep! The ovidrel that FedEx supposedly delivered over a month ago. The driver told me she left it on my front step, but apparently she left it at the wrong house. FML

Anyone else have anything they need to get off their chest?? lol

    I'm sorry about your up and down week. :-( I'd cry if I got a pregnancy announcement right before an IUI too.

    This has been a rough week for me too. We've been super busy, so I'm really tired. I'm on Clomid (enough said, I think). We found out yesterday that the third party reviewer sided with our insurance company so we have no infertility coverage until September even though I'm not ovulating on my own at all. I am so upset about that. I really don't want to wait, but I feel so guilty moving forward when I know we'll eventually have coverage. I could go on, but I won't....

    DX: 3/2014 Prolactinoma/Hyperprolactinemia- Started cabergoline 2/2014
    5/2014 Possible mild PCOS in addition to hyperprolactinemia??
    7/2014 Adding probable tubal factor to the diagnosis list
    9/2014 And now adding hypothyroid to the list- Started synthroid 9/2014
    Cycles 1-4 - Sept.-March- All Anovulatory 
    IUI #1 March/April-  Clomid 50mg + Clomid 100mg +Trigger + IUI #1 = BFN
     IUI #2 April/May-Clomid 100mg + Clomid 150mg + Trigger + IUI #2 + Endometrin=BFN
    IUI #3- June- Follistim 75iu + Trigger + IUI #3  Benched due to a 40 mm cyst. :-(
    IUI #3- July- Follistim 75iu + Trigger + IUI #3 + Endometrin = BFP! on 7/25/14
    Slowly rising betas - Ectopic suspected on 8/8/14 & confirmed on 8/11/14
    Methotrexate on 8/12/14 -HCG negative on 9/2/14
    IVF #1- November- Antagonist protocol: 11/1: start stims, 200iu of Follistim; 11/12 ER 17R/14M/14F; 11/17 5 day transfer of two blasts, 2 blasts and 2 expanding morulas frozen; 11/22 BFP!! (On FRER at 5dp5dt)
    Betas: 9dp5dt 205, 11dp5dt 497, 14dp5dt 1,709
    u/s at 5w0d- 1 sac; u/s at 6w0d 1 baby with heartbeat, another sac without a heartbeat

    Thanks, ladies - sending some good luck wishes to both of you! I know my friend was under pressure to share her announcement online, and I think that's why she did it. She's like a sister to me, I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything. I feel bad that our situation put her in an uncomfortable position, it sounds like she was stressed out about telling me... and I don't even want her to find out how upsetting it was. IF sucks.

    I just need life to calm down right now!

    Wow your friend is really insensitive. I cant imagine doing that to someone. On a good note IVF coverage is huge. 
    Husband: MFI Counts 1-11mil, Mot 32%-50% Morph 2-4%
    Me: slightly underactive thyroid
    Married March 2013 TTC since wedding.. 
    Jan 2014 Non medicated IUI-failed 
    April 2014 Started Clomid cancelled IUI due to a low sample
    May 2014 Variococele repair surgery
    (PM me any surgery success stories!)

    So sorry, what awful timing!

    Glad you have IVF coverage, just in case it's needed. But hope this month is it! Good luck. :)
