Re-intro

Hi ladies!
I intro'ed a couple of months back, but I haven't been very active so I thought I would introduce myself again especially as I just started a first cycle of clomid and things are going to get more intense rather quickly and I'm sure I will I have questions!
I am 28 and dh is 36. I have a dd from xh. We started trying in dec 2012 and finally had a bfp in nov 2013 which ended in mc. Ultrasound showed a hydrosalpinx in my right tube. Miraculously had another bfp in dec that also ended in mc at about 8 weeks.

I had my first appt w my re in early feb and she has referred me for surgery to remove the hydro at my insistence. At the same time, the surgeon will do a hysteroscopy to check my uterus for scarring and/or abnormalities. It's taking a long time for the surgery consult, so I just met with my re this week and I started clomid this cycle.
I am not benched (obv) as the re doesn't think the hydro is causing problems but bc it would have to be resolved before ivf anyway, we are taking care of it now.
I'm curious if clomid will effect my bbt or opk results. I also wonder, bc I O regularly, if it will cause me to O earlier or later? (I will be having ultrasounds to check for cysts and such) but I'm curious about what your experience has been.

I'm sorry about your losses. Kudos for being assertive for your own health and insisting on removing the hydrosalpinx. I hope your surgery goes smoothly.

I don't take Clomid yet but I've been looking into it to make sure I'm comfortable with whatever the RE tells me to do after testing this month. I think (from reading, not from personal experience) that it can make BBT unreliable or erratic, OPKs should still work right and in fact are often used to time TI or IUI when on Clomid, and if one already Os then it can cause O to be earlier (strengthening egg development) or later (messing with nature).

Clomid made by BBT very erratic before O, but after O they were normal.

OPKs will work, but if you do a trigger shot it will cause false positives on both OPKs and pregnancy tests, so be aware of that.

I didn't ovulate without Clomid, so I can't answer that part of the question.

You might want to be aware that a "child mentioned" warning is appreciated on this board. :-)

I O'd on my own without clomid usually around CD 11-13. My first Clomid cycle, I O'd CD15. Then my 2nd cycle, I O'd CD14. After that, I was back to my normal cycle. I was shocked my first cycle was so long (for me), it was 28 or 29 days.
