    Ugh! I'm having sort of the same problem! I wake up every morning and my nose is stopped up! I know it's allergies and not a cold, but it's making me miserable all day!

    I've always had allergies, but they came on super suddenly this year as it has warmed up here. I take claritin or benadryl every day, and luckily don't have any bad side effects. My OB is okay with either. I hope that helps! Also, if I'm super stuffed up I use my neti-pot and that clears up my sinuses and my ears as well.
