Pregnant after a Loss

Friday good things

Unfortunately, DH and I had a little spat this morning (it will blow over), so I know I need to post some good things to help combat this funk I'm in...

* The weather is stunning today: 70 degrees and sunny. Just perfect.

* I get to see a childhood friend for dinner tonight.

* My tulips are in bloom.

* I am finally making some progress on child care research!

I'm glad you posted this! I was wondering if we'd have a Friday "good things" post. A few more:

I got to lounge around in my in-laws' pool yesterday. Looking forward to doing that a lot this summer.

Some friends are throwing a Derby Day party tomorrow. I'll have to skip the mint juleps, but I hope to eat plenty of desserts.

I got some organizing done in my office. I still have a lot of work to do, but the piles look less crazy & intimidating ;)

  • @2redtulips Have a wonderful dinner tonight! Tulips are one of my favorite flowers (gerber daisies, too)

@Birch113 Gorgeous weather here, too. It's in the 80s here in San Diego...although it feels like the 90s. Where are you?

@megbmeg lounging at the pool sounds so nice right about now!

@RN536 That is such wonderful news about your mom! Very happy for you and her :)

    Let's see...

I went for a run at the beach today and pushed DS in the stroller. That's getting tough!

Gonna have dinner this evening with family who are visiting from Oregon.

DH is at his police academy orientation right now (first paid day...wootwoot!)

And I hope I am on-call tomorrow so I can sleep in!

Lol @RN536‌, your post just made me laugh because I have been trying to convince my husband that you can put any beverage in a pretty wine glass and that is half the fun. What types of mocktails have you been making? I'm intrigued. When I went on vacation, I had several virgin pina coladas at a pool bar but havent ventured to make anything myself.

@RN535 I love the way you think and I am normally obsessed with sangria! I will definitely see what the bartender can put together and will let you know if I get anything good! Thanks for the ideas! :-)
