Question re: the swaddleme blankets

As baby gets bigger do their hands naturally stick out of the bottom? Or am I not putting these on right? I didn't notice her hands coming out the bottom if the wrap part until the last few nights so I'm thinking it's just her being bigger. She's almost 6 weeks.

    Can you try swaddling with LO's arms bent so their hands are more on their midsection instead of straight down?

    Yep my LO hands do the same thing.. Do you know how long you can generally use them? DD is now 5 weeks and seems to be outgrowing it already..

    They make different sizes. The weight range is on the inside tag.

    This. If DS's arms are straight down sometimes his hands will pop out of the bottom but it is pretty rare.

    <- lurking from march board.  You're supposed to bend the arms at the elbow with hands going back up toward the head then wrap. they do outgrow the smaller sizes fast though...my lo is 17 days old and 10 lbs 4oz and we had to go buy the large size. the s/m was too tight!

    I have been bending her arms but they still poke out. It seems pretty right too so maybe she's just outgrown it already. Oh well, thanks for the advice!
