Worried mommy

So today I took my 4yr old in the pool. Apparently there was some chlorine on the walls of the pool that left the hands white when touching it. My son as to go pee so he did which he touched his "willy" well now his willy is a little red at the tip, and he says it hurts him just a little. I'm not 100% sure it had anything to do with the chlorine but since it started after the pool it's all I could assume. Any suggestions on how to make it go alway. I took him a bath twice n he says it feels a little better but I'm worries he's only saying that to make me feel better :( help.

Re: Worried mommy

  • I would do what Fredalina said and wash then put a bit of diaper cream on it.  It may just be red from rubbing on his swim suit (I know DS1 has a few swim suits that have a mesh type underwear built in that looks like it could rub and irritate the penis).  If you're that concerned, call your pediatrician.
