Cloth diapers/swimming

I can't find DS's old swim diapers. Since no swim diaper contains pee is there any reason I can't use an unstuffed shell if the water isn't chlorinated?

  • Yep, you can! That's a really common swim solution with CDing.

  • Awesome, thanks! Chlorine will ruin it though, right?

  • I'm not sure, honestly. I haven't tried it yet but planned to this summer after hearing it recommended so many times. Hopefully someone else will know!

  • I know lots of people use diapers with cracking or peeling PUL for swim diapers. I do think that the chlorine can damage them.

This is exactly what I do. I had a bad batch of pockets that cracked and I just use those.
Me too.  I just started using the ones that were worn and not in as good shape anymore.  I had a couple with peeling PUL and used those too.
I also noticed Target and Walmart both sell reusable swim diapers now which I think is awesome to get more people to use them.
