So I'm selling all my boy stuff. I just got off a phone call with a young lady who is 18 weeks pregnant with a little boy. She said she is about to have the baby because the cord is wrapped around his neck. So they are going to go ahead and take the baby very soon so she needs everything for the baby. I had already agreed to doing a swap of boy clothes for girl ones (she already has a daughter) before she told me all of that about her son. I don't know what to do. My heart breaks for her because I know the chances of survival are very slim at 18 weeks. And then I think about what she said and it doesn't make a lot of sense, but I don't want to judge because she is terrified and I'm scared for her because I can't imagine the pain. Would you still meet with her? She doesn't have her daughters clothing with her they are in and not her city 4 hours away and she has no money for clothes. Really just don't know what to do here.

Eta words
This is for all the caterpillars that never became butterflies. And for all the butterflies that never felt the wind in their wings. And for all the hearts that had hopes and dreams of a wondrous flight together.
THIS.
Block the crazies # and do not meet her!
Obviously that is an extreme, but even if all that happens is you give away the clothes and never get any clothes in return, you've been scammed. I'd perhaps donate the clothes elsewhere - to a homeless shelter or women's organization - and you can feel really good about that and avoid meeting creepos.

This!!!
I am very worried. I keep remembering the story of the women who stole someone's baby by scamming on CL for baby clothes.
Goodness, I hope we hear back from her soon.
Hi we talked yesterday about baby clothing. I'm sorry but I won't be able to meet with you. Best of luck with your situation.
To me, this screams "Im going to kidnap you and steal your baby from your womb" Maybe I watch too much Dateline or too many Lifetime movies, but heck no! I trust no one & if she really needed help, there are plenty of organizations the hospital can refer her to.
