Anyone with a Hyundai Santa Fe? Car seat Question!

If you have a Hyundai Sante Fe, which car seat do you have and where do you have it? Here is the background info... We were waiting on the new Peg Perego to come out (we were borrowing a car seat from a friend until now). Well, the new seat doesn't fit very well in our car and I'm trying to decide if I need to get something else. I can fit it in the middle but it would be used with the seatbelt and not the latch. It doesn't fit behind the passenger seat without the passenger seat pushed way too far up. Should I find something else that could be used in both locations? And a side question.. what is safer... Middle with seatbelt or side with latch? Thanks!!

    @hlm184‌ did you have to push the passenger seat up a lot? That's what we were thinking of getting instead of the peg perego.

    The seatbelt is just as safe as an anchor if you can get it tight. Find Alyssa Ruben,cpst. She has a Santa Fe and is a great certified car seat specialist. She's on fb

    It's pushed up more than it usually was, but I have no trouble sitting there.  I'm 5'4".

    Britax Boulevard FF behind the passenger seat. Chicco Keyfit 30 behind my drivers seat. H and I are both 5'7" and we fit ok. The drivers seat is comfortable, but might be cramped for a 6' tall person. Both seats are LATCH attached.

    We have the britax b safe in the middle with the seatbelt. I found I actually got a tighter fit with the seatbelt rather than the latch and then we don't have to move the seats up at all. My DH and I are both fairly tall
