Hi ladies, quick question.
I'm 15 weeks and yesterday my husband and I moved to a new house.
There was some bad miscommunication that led to us not getting our keys until almost 8 p.m. after closing on our old home early yesterday morning and the new home after noon. The title company and realtors were NOT helping at all and I spent the better part of the day sick with worry and crying. I was way more emotional than I should have been, but I've kind of hit that point in pregnancy where EVERY little thing makes me cry.
I had quite a bit of stomach discomfort last night...kind of some cramping off to the sides and low. Nothing that made me double over or anything but my husband noticed I kept holding my stomach. Will stress do this? Is it normal? I'm a FTM and I don't know if it's too early to have BH, or really what those even feel like. I checked baby's HB last night and it sounded good and baby also sounded pretty active.
For the record, I did lift a few things, including helped carry in a queen-sized bed but DH is a fireman and wouldn't let me overdo it. I believe I stayed under my 25-pound lifting limit my doctor gave me. Thanks for reading.
Re: belly pain from stress?
It could be from stress but if you were not eating right it could be from poop and gas (if you daily schedule was all out of wack). I had a lot of stomach discomfort the last several weeks but this week it seems to have eased up.
Could also be growing pains. I hope you feel better soon and that you enjoy your new house!
I used to work at a title company and most closings are trainwrecks! So glad that is not my life anymore
My doctor said it was round ligament pain. But I would ask your doctor if you are worried. After a day or two of drinking water and Gatorade and resting, I felt better. She also said Tylenol was ok, and that made a huge difference.
I had pain on my right lower quadrant for quite a long time. I was not drinking nearly enough fluids and over doing it. The pain did not go away until well into a hour of sitting. Then as I got active again the pain came back.
So make sure to take breaks and relax.
Enjoy your new home and sorry to hear about the train wreck of closing.
