Update 3 and final! I hope!
First of all...thank you A14 for the support and prayers! It seems so silly that a simple post to a website can be so helpful but it is just knowing its out there.
She has started wetting regularly and even owed all over my husband. Ha!! Probably well deserved! I've never been so proud of pee in my life. Thanks to this and a very successful experience with an OT lactaction consultant, we are on our way to being a successful breast feeding team. I learned that nipple shields can be your friend! Its ok to pump at 5 days pp if needed to make sure your LO is getting their needs met. I am making milk! And it won't all be in for another week and a half. She ate from my most engorged breast for 7 minutes and got 1.5 oz. thank you weighted feeding! This whole experience was worth it.
Thank you a14 for letting me share my experience and feel supported. Y'all are awesome!!
Update 2: so luckily the protein in her kidneys should resolve itself. That is wonderful news! Bad news is it is breastfeeding or unknown lack of it appears to be the culprit for her lack of wet diapers. My milk is just coming in. I pumped tonight and one side was great and the other needed an industrial strength vacuum to get anything out. My poor baby has been starving. She has had formula and is sleeping sprawled out on her back like she's never been relaxed before. And she has this giant IV in her little arm. I know its not my "fault" but its my fault if that makes sense. I am also mad that the hospital sent her home knowing there was only one wet diaper. It just seems like it was obvious we would end up here.
Thank you all for the comments and prayers. Keep them coming please because even though she's had all this fluid, she still hasn't had a wet diaper. I'm hoping it will just take a little time.
Update: heading to Childrens Hospital for admission. And in a soul crushing twist the LC from the hospital happened to just call to check in and told me her problem is due my poor latch and her inability to get proper nourishment. The latch they sent me home with. I'm dying inside. And DH is on board now. He was just upset about her having to go through any of this. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers!!
Send us some prayers please! My 4 day old has only had one wet diaper each day. We went to the pedi today and had to start supplementing, have a kidney US a d now she needs bloodwork because there was some kind of protein that my pedi had never heard of. She consulted with the urologists at Children's Hospital and they are concerned. My husband is also not helping because he was so upset with her reaction to the exam and US that he really doesn't want her to go through this. Its so frustrating. I keep trying to explain that she can get sick very quickly and needs this. We are going in a minute but there is a lot of tension. Ant positive thoughts you can spare would be great.

Re: Update 3: Kidney issues :-(
I hope things get figured out soon.
Hugs
I'm sorry you are going through this. It's NOT your fault. Just remember to breathe. You have my thoughts and prayers.

I hope she has the biggest wet diaper for you soon (with lots more to follow)!
One of the nurses told me if I had been feeding her every two hours, she wouldn't have jaundice. I was feeding her, or at least doing my best. You can't help when your milk comes in. I remember feeling awful and sobbing. The moral: it's not your fault, but I understand how you feel.
I'm glad that the issue will resolve itself, I hope it does so quickly. It shows how good of a mom you are that you were on top of it.
