I'm edgy today

Apparently being 38wks has my nerves and patience on edge.

I got really frustrated this morning trying to to get DD ready for the day. And now as I sit in mandatory training at work, the dude behind me is going to make me snap. He's a really loud nose breather so that's gross. And he's clicking a pen constantly and crunching a piece of paper or plastic or something incredibly annoying.

Ugh, I hate feeling so stabby. This baby needs to get here soon so my hormones level out a bit!

Anyone else extra edgy lately?

Yes! Stabby/edgy...it gets a little scary---like the worst pms of my life. Sorry coworkers for my bitchiness-but HR doesn't let us start our FMLA until our due date- this is what you get.

Yep. This last week I've been on edge and super irritable. I feel like every little thing DH or my in-laws does annoys me. Even the poor dogs can't catch a break because I get irrationally mad at them, too. This morning DH said, "I just can't wait to meet our little girl, it feels like you've been pregnant forever!" Totally harmless and a cute thing to say, yet I glared at him and said, yeah imagine how I feel!

I was telling my mom how much my back and hips have been hurting and she said, "Yeah, when I was pregnant with you and your brother (twins) on bed rest in the hospital I had a really nice nurse give me a massage everyday." Bitch. That doesn't make me feel any better.

Yep someone might actually get stabbed before this baby is born. DH isn't too bad but we own our business and I do all the accounting etc. so I'm trying to get things in order before we leave. We're also pretty slow right now because we haven't been advertising because taking time off for the birth so we are a little more cash-light than I want to be. Plus I'm worried about our employee handling things while we are out. I just want to scream! Or maybe cry I'm not sure it's all kind of blurry.

I'm pretty tetchy today. For some reason I threw one of my pillows on the floor last night when sleeping, so now I have a crick in my neck. Then I strained my arm on the other side, taking the vacuum cleaner up the stairs. It's the 3rd day in 3 weeks that I've waited in for LO's dresser to be delivered and it hasn't been. Now DH's "drink after work" has turned into 10pm and no sign of him - as usual. Every frickin time. One drink turns into a whole evening, but this time i'm 3 days away from my due date while he's 1.5hrs away having a great time.

Yep, feeling a little on edge.

@RugbyMamma‌ - he does it every time. I've learnt that "I'll be home by 8" actually means "I might be home before you go to bed and I'll probably be tipsy". I usually just let it slide, but I don't want a drunk husband as a birth partner, should the inevitable happen. He can be a dick sometimes.

The week I went into labor I was super irritable. I don't know if it was a sign, or just that being 35+ weeks pregnant wears you down.

Yup, definitely edgy. A couple of the other moms at work kept saying they were waiting to see the angry pregnant me, since I normally try to keep up a semblance of pleasant-ness in the workplace. But today I basically told a coworker to eff off because he came back to ask me the same question for the third time.

@awc1986‌ my dh did that last night. "No later than 9" at 9:10 I texted him, it's later than 9! He got my text at 9:20 and got home at 9:45 so it wasn't too late (this time). He apologizes every time but I just stopped believing him. I would rather he not give me a time and give me a range. He says he just loses track of time. However, I'm 37 weeks and not 3 days from my due date (which would DEFINITELY piss me of!!) and he said he was doing it now so he wouldn't do it closer to my date so that (kind of) helped. So..... In conclusion, I was super stabby last night! Ha!

@libbylu7‌ - we may have married the same man. Well I just got a text from him saying he's on his way home. It's gone 11:30 here. I'm not too worried about going into labor without him, but I'm more pissed at the fact that I've been on my own all day on mat leave and I'll probably be asleep before he gets home.

I'm usually pretty good with demanding customers - today I flung paper work at one and told him if he can't fill out the application on his own paperwork I couldn't help him.

I am very irritable today. I am just super uncomfortable, it feels like she gained a pound since yesterday. I also found out my grandpa has lung cancer and doesn't have long

Oh by far, I have my students play the quiet game because there are times when I just can't handle there constant talking.
