Background: I'm a fourth grade teacher and had a conflict with my principal and guidance counselor in October last year. I tried reaching out to them via email and never got a response. I moved forward knowing they obviously didn't care about me or my thoughts and have focused on myself and my students and tried to have as little interaction unless needed. Last week the counselor asked me to meet about a concern. I went down at the end of the day assuming it's about a student she saw earlier, nope. I get blindsided into this meeting with her and my principal so she can discuss "whatever personal issues I have with her". Today, the superintendent was in our building and I was down waiting to see her. I was afraid I may not be back in time and asked a team member to help cover my class, no problem. Get called into the principals office because 'someone' came to him saying how my room was unsupervised while I was in the meeting. I then approached him at the end of the day to express how I didn't appreciate being blamed for something that was not a problem because my room was covered and if whoever 'saw' it was so worried why didn't they just ask another fourth grade teacher if everything was alright and if they needed help covering the room rather than come to him and tattle. He just made excuses and then had the nerve to tell me "I confirmed with two of your students that the other fourth grade teacher was peeking in and out and the other teacher didn't come to cover until the end" Seriously?! He's asking fourth graders instead of the other adults who were there. Ugh. I know it was the counselor who told him this as other staff in the building are very quick to throw her under the bus when she pulls that crap. I thought I teach ten year olds, not work with them!!!! And for that, I wish upon her chronic diarrhea. Bitchfest over, thanks for letting me rant
