Changes in hair

My hair seems super dry & I can't even get a brush through it after conditioning it! I grew it out while pregnant, but now I'm thinking about chopping it off into a bob just to manage it! Anyone else have hair changes post pregnancy? Any tricks/products that helped?

Mine has been horribly dry, too. So has my skin. No tricks or tips, but I'm in the same boat.

I'm so happy to have dry hair now. I normally have oily straight hair, and now it's dry and wavy. I'm super happy with it!! I'm not looking forward to it thinning again. After Skippy was born, I had to cut my hair short because it was coming out in handfuls. Blech!!

Just trim it. In all my years as a stylist I've found that the first thing a woman does after having a baby is chop it off. Always a bob. When I see them a few months later, they are growing it out. Just find a really good stylist and he/she will guide you to a manageable cut and good products, and if in a few months you still want to chop it off then go for it.

Try leave in conditioner/ weekly treatments. You can find them at the store for a reasonable price. Hot oils or deep conditioners work great!

Moroccan oil works really well, you can use the high end stuff or the Suave brand, they work about the same. Run it thru while your hair is still wet, before you use any styling products.

I've always had wavy/curly hair, but since LO made his appearance, it will not hold curl at all!! So frustrating because it's so much easier to make it curly than it is to dry it straight. Oh well, it always winds up in a pony tail anyways
