Favorite movies about pregnancy?

Is anyone else spending their exhausted time dozing off to Netflix movies? I saw Conception last week and watched What to Expect When You're Expecting yesterday...curious what other favorites are out there? Planning (in the next seven months - not any time soon! :)) to watch Look Who's Talking, Father of the Bride Part 2, The Backup Plan, Nine Months & Three Men and a Baby. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

We just watched "Gimme Shelter" last night.  SUCH  a tearjerker but a really positive story about a mom and baby in the end. Warning, you will cry a lot!  But it was really good.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU'RE EXPECTING is the funniest pregnancy movie.  A for sure must see. I watched it when i was pregnant with DS, and laughed and cried through the whole thing.  All the expecting mothers had different pregnancies, just hilarious to see how peoples symptoms and experiences are sooo different.

First Comes Love is a documentary that's running on HBO right now-it's interesting. My faves are Business of Being Born, what to Expect and Baby Mama.

  • This isn't a movie, but I enjoyed watching the BBC series Call the Midwife. I think the first two seasons are on netflix.

I LOVE Call the Midwife! I get kind of grumpy when little people aren't in bed/quiet Sunday night at 8, because that's when the current seasons episodes show on PBS :)

  • Knocked up for sure. I just added what to expect to my list yesterday and after seeing so many comments I'm def. watching it tonight. :) Nine Months is also good for some old school chuckles.
  • I heard there's a documentary being made that follows the week by week journey of pregnancy called 40 Weeks. Anybody else hear about it? When's it coming out?

Knocked Up is one of my favorite movies over all, and probably even more so now.

I saw The Business of Being Born while I was in college in one of nursing classes. It is definitely biased, but definitely interesting and informative. Worth a watch.
