Who takes progestrone?

What kind? Vaginal- cream/pill or oral pill. How many times a day? What are your side affects, if any?
I am on 200mg vaginal pills 2x's/day. Besides the leakage- gross, I am nausea's at times, emotional- i can cry at the drop of a hat, moody, and tired...

    Endometrin 3x per day, and yea, they make me feel like I'm about to get a super period. That's what high doses of progesterone is supposed to do.

    Crinone gel just in the morning.  It doesn't leak at badly as the others I've been on but instead leaves cottage cheese type crap inside your vagina.  It makes me so f'n hungry and I get headaches every now and then.

    BFP #2 1/28/14--MC 2/7/14
    IUI #1 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
    IUI #2 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
    IUI #3 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
    IVF #1, Stimmed for 12 days, ER 8/22/14, 9 retrieved, 7M, 7F!!  Freeze all due to fluid in uterus.
    FET end of October 2014 cancelled due to fluid in uterus due to possible c-scar defect
    Surgery scheduled 12/12/14 to fix possible isthmocele
    3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
    Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
    2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
    MOVING TO ADOPTION!

    Shots shots shots!!! This past time I didn't get it, but usually after a week it so I get a huge knot at injection site, and I feel like period impending too.
    January 2007- Stop BCP! Let's DO this!
    June 2010- MFI. BS. IVF! Ectopic. BS. image

    January 2011- BFP FET! TWINS!     February 2011- lost twin. BS. image

    I'm on the cream 2x per day.
    The only negative side effect for me is the cramping. Other than that, the progesterone makes me feel "normal" again emotionally. I'm more in check, more energetic and less snappy. In fact, if I forget a dose, I can normally tell because I'll lash out at my family for something pretty minor. The spotting that starts shortly after ovulation continuing until AF has also stopped.

    DS #1: April 2010
    DS #2: July 2015 (preemie born at 31 weeks) - our little miracle conceived through ART - unexplained secondary infertility/adenomyosis

    Not taking it right now but have in the past both oral and vaginal depending on the cycle. The oral makes me a basket case, the vaginal a little less so but that was also a lower dose.

    With the OB the first time I did crinone. With an OB the second time I did prometrium 100mg 1x a day. The RE switched me to 200mg 2x a day. They also were ok with crinone which I am doing now because they had samples.

    200 Mg twice a day from 3dpo to AF. Tmi warning makes sex very uncomfortable for me so we don't have any and then DH is the moody one. Ohh and I cry a lot.

    TTC#1 May 2009- July 2010 on our own with no luck

    Started with RE in August 2010, dx with unexplained IF and then finally our 3rd IUI cycle using Follistim and Trigger resulted in our wonderful little man.  Born 12/2/11

    TTC#2 Never really prevented, but were careful early on as Dr. reccomended

    Surprise BFP 12/16/13, started progesterone immediately as first numbers came back low, but betas were good.  Progesterone wasnt enough. Natural MC 12/24/13.

    Back with RE as of January 2014...

    5/27/14- Chemical Pregnancy :(

    April 2015 IVF#1

    5/13/15- BFP, please stick LO!

    Oh and I'm a major Harry Potter Nerd :)

    I don't remember from the last time I took it a few years ago- I stop if i get a bfn, right? to bring on af?!

    I took it vaginally before, but I have an rx for an oral one this time around.  I didn't really have any symptoms back when it was the higher dose.  The stuff I'm taking now might as well be a sugar pill.  It has done nothing for me.  I still started my period at 11 dpo.   (:|

    I took endometrin 3 x's a day a couple years ago... Then crinone 2x's for one of my cycles... Both of them gave some nasty discharge... Did shots and crinone the last time. I think all of the above seemed to make me hungrier.
