No Naps and No Pacifier

DD has decided that she doesn't want to nap today. Usually she is up for 2 hours then takes a nap then up for about 3 hours between her other 2 naps. She's been up for over 4 hours and doesn't want me to leave her side because she's sleepy. Oh yeah and she won't take her pacifier today either which is how I get her to sleep unless we are in the car or I nurse her to sleep at night....

For those who's LOs quit the pacifier, how do you get them to sleep now?

    CIO. We just started a few days ago and it is so much less stressful. I wasn't going to at first but nursing her to sleep was taking so much out of me. Especially when she'd fight sleep and refuse to nurse as well.

    Now she takes a morning nap, an afternoon one, and sometimes a little cat nap if she nurses to sleep closer to bed time. She now falls asleep within 5 minutes of laying her down.

    I was at my wit end when we decided to sleep train. Now I even like the MOTN feedings.

    I ended up nursing him to sleep a lot. We are going to start CIO soon. My nipples are taking a beating.

    No fever for her @twolittlewheels‌ Thanks for that. I ended up nursing her to sleep but she only slept for 30mins with me holding her. I tried to lay her down but she woke right up. I'd still love to hear any other solutions too. Don't think I can do CIO... At least not yet.

    To get him to nap I take him to my bed and nurse to sleep. I usually have to rub his hair and sing too. He really fights naps :) Since he's already in the bed I don't have to worry about moving him. Otherwise I have to hold him the whole time or he will wake up. He used to take a paci but won't anymore.

    LO didn't have a fever but had a double ear infection. Trust your mommy instincts and if LO is still beside him/herself call the doc. Not every baby needs to CIO
