Job Application Q

A job popped up that is a perfect fit for me in the city that we want to move to when my husband retires in about a year and a half. I currently don't have the ideal situation to apply, but I'm thinking about trying as a long shot anyways. I'm currently doing this same job remote for another company. And I will be in the city while my husband is deployed. I would like to propose that I would be available for a 5 month transition in their office, but I would need to work remotely for approximately a year after that. I fully understand that it is unlikely the company will go for it, but I am the perfect fit in an area where my niche isn't very common.

Questions - would you address this at all in your cover letter, or just drop it on them when/if you got a phone interview? Also, would you recommend I put the address that I will be living in that is near their office in 2 months, or my current address which is clearly out of town?

I'd wait to discuss the location/working from home issues until you got an interview.  I would also be inclined to put both addresses, assuming you can get mail at the address local to them.
