What do I do about these leaking breasts?

Ever since my milk came in I leak like crazy at night. I put on a breast pad, or several and by the time I wake up my shirt is soaked. Last night I get frustrated and stuffed one of dd's bibs in there. Still soaked through by the findin woke again.

Anyone have any tips or tricks? I'm going through bras and shirts like crazy!

Wearing pads will just soak up the milk. You have to apply pressure in order to get the flow to stop. Maybe wear a comfy bra to bed?

I always a bra 24/7. I don't want to mess up my supply either by anything too tight

When I was leaking that much at night I stuffed a receiving blanket across both side. It will eventually even out and you won't leak as much. I found it helped to sleep on my back too.

I have to use the disposable nursing pads at night. They don't leak through even when they are super full

Use a menstral pad, cut a thick one in half and stuff yourself. Someone I knew did this when they were trying to dry up.

Edit: Apparently autocorrect thinks menstral should be men steal...

During the day I use something called Milksavers...it's like a little rubber pocket you put in your bra on the non nursing side and collects the milk you leak during a feeding. It is crazy how much I've been leaking- 1-2oz just about every time. I have lots of milk stored in my freezer now instead of the pile of laundry I had before. You could use it for night feedings too combined with one of the tricks above for while you sleep to cut down on laundry and save milk.

I was just going to suggest a milk saver. I use mine mostly at night because that's when I'm the most engorged. I have almost 60oz in my freezer from what I've collected in the milk saver (lo is almost 4 weeks). This is my third baby I've used it with and recommend it to everyone!

I took this pic a few weeks ago to show a friend. Sorry its sideways. You put your nipple in that hole then pull your bra/tank back up to hold it in place. Your milk will drip in there, then when I'm done nursing, I massage and give a few squeezes to make sure the drips are done, then pour it into a bottle. It holds 2oz at a time. I fill that bad boy up every time now.

One thing is that I've heard the milk saver sometimes is stimulating and makes you leak more. I'm worried about trying it because of oversupply/overactive let down issues. Thoughts from mamas who like it?

I love Bamboobies overnights, so soft and very absorbant. If it's getting past those then a cloth diaper/burp cloth is probably your best option. I'm 12days pp and finally not engorged all the time... it's so nice!

I'm another that loves bamboobies. The overnights are like pillows for your boobs (in terms of softness, not size). I move to them when my leaking tapers off a bit.

I use a thicker wash cloth in my shirt at night it works and isn't uncomfortable.

@dani+california‌ I leaked heavily for about 3 weeks and it's calmed down substantially this week. I pump only once per day for freezer supply and EBF.
