sigh -- silly parents...

So I had planned to tell my parents either tonight or next week (hadn't really decided for sure yet) about the pregnancy, and I had a cute way of doing it and everything. And then I'm at work today (I work with my dad) and he just comes out and asks me if I'm pregnant. Of course I can't lie to him, so I confirm that I am, and then he says "good; I told your mom last night that you were pregnant". So now both my parents know. No surprise. No cute announcement. At least we'll still get to have that moment with SO's parents, so I'm not totally bummed, but still, it would have been nice to get to tell them our way and on our own time. Apparently my eating junk food, lack of running, and weight gain (see how those three things are related?) gave me away.

Haha my dad is that same way. I avoided him like crazy until I was ready to tell him. Sorry the surprise was ruined but I think it's kind of adorable that he knew

Awww, sorry your surprise was ruined! Early during my last pregnancy my dad brought over a ladder for us to use, and I was lifting it off the truck and he came around and said "Don't lift that, you're pregnant!" I was mad and said "Who the hell told you?! I'll kill them!"

Yeah, he was just teasing me. Oops. Lol

Ha, I'm totally just texting my mom an u/s picture on Friday if all goes well. I am apparently still 15 years old and afraid of getting in trouble for having sex. :P
