Umbilical Granuloma....

LO has an umbilical granuloma. Our pedi has put silver nitrate on it twice (1 week apt and 2 month apt). She is 12 weeks and it doesn't seem to be getting any smaller or better. It still oozes occasionally and is a bright pink. We apply alcohol at each diaper change too. Pedi is not overly concerned and said she will continue to use silver nitrate if needed. I'm just nervous overall about it because mom. Has anyone had a LO with this....how long has it taken to heal? Thanks!
