PP Belly Binder

(Sorry if this has been asked, I am mobile and cannot search.)

Do you/have you used a belly binder PP? If so what did you use? Also, should I wait for my 1 month follow up appt with my OB and ask her before I use it?

DH got me one but it is. Stiff material which makes it uncomfortable to use and when I take it off I feel a little lopsided.

    I want to know about this too! I never used one after DD and felt like my pelvis never went back to the right position so my tummy never went flat even after getting into really good shape.

    Eta: I do remember seeing a thread about this but not sure if it was here or my BMB. And I almost always mobile bump...

    I talked to my OB about this today and she didn't have a recommendation for one. She said everyone recovers differently and firmly believes that genetics plays a big part in it. Her SIL has 5 kids under age 6 (I can't even imagine!!) and has no belly and is super thin. She didn't do anything to get to that point. A healthy diet and exercise (once cleared) are probably going to be best options. I still plan to ask the OB I see at the next appt to see if he has a different viewpoint.

    I used the Belly Bandit (bamboo) and I loved it! It was soft on my stomach and I was numb around my incision that I didn't feel any pressure from the bottom of it.  I started using it the day after my girls were born and only wore it for a few weeks because it got too large for me, but I guess it did the job.
