How to handle registries for multiple showers?

My family is in IL, and I'll easily have 2 showers there in order to keep the peace between my mom and stepmom,
Partner and I live in GA so his family will want to host one I'm sure as well as my circle of friends/coworkers etc. So that's easily 2 more. How did you handle registries for multiple showers/dates?
Anything I should be aware of?!
