PGAL brain kicking in for A/S UPDATE

I don't know why, but I am just freaking out about my A/S this afternoon. I really wanted to be happy and excited about it because it's such a big milestone (or feels like it anyway) and I've been doing so well with PGAL brain, but I just can't help being nervous. It's silly since my loss was so early and I surpassed my loss milestone 13 weeks ago, so it makes no sense for me to still be nervous about things like this. My DH is truly amazing and tries so hard to make me less worried, but I don't think he quite understands how I feel about it. How do i get through the next two hours to my appointment? I feel like I can't focus on anything and I can't eat because I'm so worked up over this.

UPDATE: Everything went great! Baby looks healthy, measuring right on track, and has all the right parts

And, IT'S A GIRL!!!!!! Thanks so much for all your support ladies. Your words really did make me feel better as I was waiting for my appointment.

Sending lots of good vibes your way for your a/s today and can't wait for a great update!! I think always having some sort of worry comes with the pgal territory unfortunately. Just remember you're pregnant until you're told otherwise! Please remind me to follow my own advise this Friday!

No advice, I just wanted to let you know that I am completely nervous for mine on Friday. I think it is normal for PgAL mommas. I have been trying to keep myself as busy as possible at work (I've seriously been a work maniac for the last week). However, when I get home, I am a complete ball of nerves.

Like PP said, I think it is completely normal to get worried before a scan. Even though things have been going well, we can't help but be scared. I hope you aren't beating yourself up about getting nervous. And I hope you have wonderful news to share later, and that you feel very relieved!

I was like that too through the whole ultrasound. I kept feeling like the next thing she checked would be when she told me something was wrong. I think the tech and the girl in training /observing were freaked out by how quiet and not excited I was (my husband too!) We were just too nervous.
