stress

I am starting to worry a bit about my stress level during this pregnancy. I am a daycare provider and I have a lot of little kids. I am fairly new to childcare so some days I get pretty overwhelmed and stressed. Do any of you ladies have advice for relieving stress during pregnancy??

Re: stress

  • I wind down each evening by taking a bath (not too hot!), then watching some Netflix shows in bed, all by myself. I've had a really stressful couple of weeks at work, plus anxiety of early pregnancy after 3 losses, and now I'm finishing my master's and graduating in May, with HUGE deadlines this week. Ugh.

  • I wish I could have time to myself. I am pretty much responsible for a child from 6:30 AM - 9:00 PM and by that time I just want to sleep now. I think I might need to make myself stay awake so I can have time to just be by myself and actually enjoy it. Or maybe I can pawn the kiddos off on the hubby for a full day on the weekend if it gets too bad.
  • I think a bath at 9pm followed by a wondrous sleep sounds wonderful. You'll find a way to unwind. Even if it is just for a short bit during "nap time". When all else fails, eat a cupcake.

Hahaha I like you more and more
