WATCH OUT!!! Do not feed the trolls - 39 weeks and no signs of labor

I know this is pretty normal but I need to vent ladies. This waiting game is not fun and even I've been in a great mood and this pregnancy has been really great, so great that I can still get my beauty sleep at night It's kind of annoying not to see any signs, nothing, NADA! no mucus plug, no blood show, no water breaking, baby not dropping yet. not even 1 cm dilation, nada! Also, dealing with co-workers staring at my belly everyday and making that comment in the morning "you're still here and pregnant" or asking when is my last day of work or when I am going to induce it (which I am not) annoys me, and yeah yeah, I know they're just being nice and they care but that pressure is not helping to ease my anxiety!

Anyone feeling the same way? Any birth stories from week 39?

no birth story to share at 39 weeks but i can empathize with you:( I went to almost 41 weeks with my DD and had to be induced so fingers crossed your little one comes on his/her own!!!!

I know it's frustrating, but it's par for the course... And even though you don't have any "progress" at the moment, that can change in an hour. Just be patient. I was induced with DS at 41 weeks and honestly, it was July, I was majorly uncomfortable, hadn't slept in weeks, etc. If you're still sleeping and not too uncomfortable take advantage of the time to get some rest before baby comes and you're up all night. Hang in there!

Right. A lot of women already have children so you can be sure they have an abundance of time on their hands. Because I always hear parents of young children complain of being bored and well-rested.

I kind of hope you go into labor at 41w5d; you don't want to miss out on the fun that can be had those last several days when you're overdue. Did you ask the experts at Babycenter for their input? We all know how awesome their advice is, like suggesting CIO at 3 months.

I showed noooooothing ever with my first! it was hard!! when people would say "you still here" I felt like saying "no. I left two weeks ago." ha!!! I had NO signs,,, then mayyyybe crampy feeling & boom: then I suddenly went into labor & had my baby in two hours!!!
