Possible hope?

Met with the OB today. I'm not even sure what to say or think at this point. I was told that, while there wasn't a lot of it, there actually HAD been some growth (from not able to see a fetal pole to seeing a SMALL one). They just couldn't see the heartbeat. So I've been changed from an imminent miscarriage to a threatened miscarriage. I have another ultrasound next week (not sure when, because they're short staffed so it will probably be short notice) to check, and then I'll know for sure. Like I said, I just don't even know what to think at this point. I guess I'm trying not to think too much about it because I know that whatever is going to happen is going to happen. Anyways, you ladies have been so kind to me, so I thought I would let you know. I'll update again next week after we find out for sure what's going on.

I definitely "blame" my attitude on my mother. A lot of people think that I'm flippant, but really I don't see the point in worrying about something that I can't change anyways. If this baby is meant to be, it will stick and grow. If it's not, my body will get rid of it and we'll try again.

If it DOES stick, it will be something to be added to the family history. My family can seriously never do anything the right/easy way.
