I broke down and finally ordered some digital OPKs

Ok, so I know that sounds super newb-ish, but I'm excited nonetheless.  I have always told myself I'd use opk's, then I have super long cycles and end up needing to use them for weeks at a time, so I had gotten out of the happen of using them.  But my last couple cycles I have o'ed around the same time, so I decided to actually do it this time.  I've got a decent stash of the wondfos, but my results yesterday and today look like they are maybe, sort of, kind of positive.  It's hard to know for sure, so I decided to order some CB digis. I have it in my head that they can make the difference between a bfn and bfp, which I know isn't really the case.  Our timing isn't all that bad, it's my short lps that seem to be my issue recently.  But we'll see.  I just want so badly to get k/u before my apt with the RE in a couple weeks.  Don't we all!

    Whatever works for you! I hate OPKs of all varieties, but I found the digital ones easier to use. I haven't had to use them for about 6 months b/c I've been getting my little guided tour of my uterus and ovaries every month at my RE.

    Also, I've been meaning to tell you I LOVE LOVE LOVE your mean girls siggy things. They crack me up every time :D

    Thanks, @bananappeal145, I love Mean Girls and those gifs crack me up, too.  As far as opk's go, they haven't worked out too well in the past, but since I've been o'ing around the same time lately, I figured I'd give 'em a shot.  

    And thanks, @momarazzi007!  I'm rooting for you, too, my friend.  I'm looking forward to your cycle in June!!!  It will be here before you know it!

    oh yes, digi OPKs are awesome, they take all the guesswork out of it. if only i could have back those hours of staring at pee sticks arguing back and forth about the shade of purple in comparison to the test line.

    IVF #1    Oct 2014 - antagonist protocol: 9R, 7M, 5F. 3dt of 3 Grade 2 embies. BFN. 
    IVF #2    Jan 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.  Converted to IUI #1. BFFN
    IVF #2.1 March 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.

    BFP #6  (SUPRISE!) 3/19/15.  EDD 11/30/15...  CP at 4w2d.
    IUI #2:    Clomid + Follistim = 3 follies. BFN.
    IVF #2.2 May 2015 - horrible response to micro lupron flare protocol: 3R, 3M, 3F. 3dt of 2 Grade 3 embies. BFFN. 

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

    I've been using the same box of digi OPKs for the past 6 months! I just use them to confirm, because like you said.. Sometimes it's hard to tell, but so far, but Wondfos have always lined up with my digis, so I'm just using the digis to see the smiley

    At $2 a pop, I'm planning to do the same thing! I hope the ones I ordered arrive in time to use this cycle.

    IUI #1 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
    IUI #2 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
    IUI #3 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
    IVF #1, Stimmed for 12 days, ER 8/22/14, 9 retrieved, 7M, 7F!!  Freeze all due to fluid in uterus.
    FET end of October 2014 cancelled due to fluid in uterus due to possible c-scar defect
    Surgery scheduled 12/12/14 to fix possible isthmocele
    3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
    Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
    2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
    MOVING TO ADOPTION!
