Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. First of all I'm very sorry for all your losses. I've jumped around on a few boards now, from TTC to July '14 moms, to the loss boards and then took a break from the boards altogether for a few months.
I got my BFP last October, and everything seemed fine until our 13 week appointment in January. After the Doppler thing didn't pick up a heartbeat we were sent in for a u/s and confirmed the baby had no heartbeat. I saw her (genetic testing later confirmed gender) not moving and surrounded by strange cysts that weren't there just 3 weeks prior. I had a D&C the next day. The doctor ordered genetic tests due to her suspicion of a molar pregnancy.
Some time later, genetic tests confirmed the molar pregnancy. Mine was apparently some strange mix between a partial molar and full molar. The doctor said I showed signs of both. The baby was alive until over 11 weeks. I was told I needed to come in once a week to get my blood drawn due to the risk of cancer from the pregnancy, and no trying again for a year. I guess I thought that meant a year from January, but I found out today (after 4 months my HCG levels FINALLY went to zero) that the one year clock actually starts now. So we thought we were 4 months into our waiting period, but actually it just starts now.

Testing done: male with complete Trisomy 16, not hereditary. Tested me for clotting disorders, all normal.
Feb. 2014 all clear again to TTC! Will start progesterone supplementation with the next BFP just in case. Oct. 2014 more testing just because, thyroid and autoimmune panels = normal. Diagnostic U/S = no abnormalities. Will keep trying for 3-6 more months, doctor still optimistic!
