Has anyone seen Mortified Nation?

The documentary? Because if not, might I suggest getting on Netflix right now and get to watching. It's a stage show where adults read from their adolescent diaries and it's basically amazing.

I lol'd and aww'd through the whole thing and now I want to go see one of the shows and/or be in it.

  • I would have really awful embarrassment by association from watching this.

DH has such a secondhand embarrassment problem. He cannot handle it. I'd love to watch this, though.

  • I get secondhand embarrassment but this didn't set off that alarm at all. These people are loving it because they get to laugh at themselves and the crowd just feeds off of it. Seriously, it's awesome and I would totally do it.

  • It made me wish I kept a journal!  It's hard to pick a favorite - I lol'd a lot during the movie.

  • Sounds interesting. Thanks for the recommendation.
  • I just watched this last week. It's so amazing some of the stuff people were willing to share. The guy at the end who wrote all the metal songs for his imaginary band--- ugh. I couldn't stop laughing at his "sexual content".

I went to bed realizing his band name, Live Evil, is a palindrome and it kept me up for awhile.

Best palindrome band name: Emily's sassy lime.
