Sudden L&D trip! UPDATE LO on the way

DH And I dropped off our 2.5 with my parents so we could go rent a carpet cleaner machine and run home and try and do one room before picking him back up. We walked into the store after trying a few others and we both had to use the restroom.
I actually came out first and was waiting on him when I felt it...the gush of fluid in my underwear and soaking my shorts. We immediately left and decided it was best to run home and get a few things and head to L&D. Well only thing I had packed ready was for LO So I threw some things in the bag for me and off we went stopping by for an ice cream on the way. Meanwhile my contractions had intensified and were closer together.
Basically I was contracting every 2-3 min lasting 45-60 seconds on the monitor but still dilated to a 1 but running a fever so I had to get a straight cath and had several cervical checks. I got to stay and walk around for an hour to check again and same outcome...just a bunch of painful contractions. We were there from 8:35-2am. I was sent home with a Vicodin and basically it's all early labor which I experienced with DS about 2-3 days before my water finally broke!
Here's to hoping those contractions will make a cervical change when the times right! I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow and been on bed rest since 30 weeks with PTL! I see my doc on Tuesday. BTW, this little trip quickly reminded DH and I how we were NOT Prepared to be staying and bringing home a baby yet!! Gotta get our things together!
Update: went to my doc appt this morning and he was concerned about the fever so he did an ultrasound to check fluid levels which were okay but did a different fluid check where he can place it on a slide and watch under a microscope to see if it crystalizes and it did to show I had a leak somewhere. He called me about an hour later and said to head to L&D to be monitored and probably induced. Well here I am after cleaning my house, packing bags, and getting checked in.
They've started pitocin since I'm at risk for infection since my water was leaking the other day and I've had a fever. Broke the rest of my water and contractions are pretty consistent! We will have a baby tonight!
