Abigail is here :) Birth Story...long

Tried to post my birth story this morning but it didn't go through this morning so here goes again....Abigail Eleanor was born on 4/21/14 at 12:41am weighing 8 lbs 3 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. Long story...I already had an induction scheduled for 4/24 (39 weeks) due to rising blood pressure. On Easter Sunday while eating dinner the room started spinning and my head was throbbing. I called my doc and she said it would be best to head over to L & D to do some tests. While there my BP wasn't great so it was decided that the induction would be that night. Since I was already 4 cm and 70% effaced they told me the induction would be quick...and it was. I was given pitocin at 9pm and she was born at 12:41am. This is my third child. The contractions during this labor were extremely intense. After getting an epidural I pushed through 4 contractions and she was here. Forceps were used in both previous pregnancies to get my kids out and I was worried it would happen again with this one. It didn't

I have a pretty nasty tear but well worth it. I am very proud of how my body reacted during this process. We are now home getting situated
