I finally got back to the gym last week after 2 weeks of traveling. Boy did I feel it too! My body let me know that I definitely hit 30 weeks on Sunday :P
I have found a sugar free Mint Chocolate chip ice cream that I probably shouldn't be eating so much of...but, it's really good and has been on sale!
This week I will have two days I can't make it to the gym...which means only 3 I can go. Guess I'll have to make the most of them.
Well, we've been walking everyday and to be quite honest, I don't love it. I'm at a point where it's hard to breathe and I'm feeling very heavy. So I basically walk YDS in the stroller while DW runs and plays with our older two. Nick and I are happy to take our slow and steady time lol. Good news is that while I'm slow and steady, I'm not nearly as exhausted as I could be and I bet the smoothies are the reason. DW and I will be going to a huge mall on friday for our Anniversary so, I know walking that entire place will be good exercise. I just hope I can walk past the auntie Anne's without needing pretzels lol
I got in a couple good workouts this week! I have also been on a salmon, broccoli, and sweet potato kick! Here's hoping that it lasts and an Oreo kick doesn't kick in Still not able to go on long walks without bad groin pain, so I'm sticking to spin and body weight exercises. I've also been getting 3-4.5 liters of water lately, so I'm happy about that!
My big win is that we signed up for the Y and we actually went as a family tonight for the first time! I've been so sedentary that i walked a mile on the treadmill and stretched and i'm feeling it now, BUT I WENT! and DS loved the kids play area, so now I know I can go whenever I want all I want to do is get into a routine of going now so that after the baby is born I will keep it up.
Last week was great- 3 Bootcamp workouts, and I ran 40 miles. Feeling good. I was also diligent about drinking a glass of Gatorade every night before bed, and I didn't wake up with any calf cramps last week.
Vents/ Celebrations- 31 weeks today! Spent the weekend with my family celebrating my younger brothers 30th bday, so that was fun!
Plans for this week- 6 days of running, 3 Bootcamp workouts, keep up the Gatorade each night.
How was your previous week? I went to L&D last Tuesday and was pretty much told to take it easy, so I did. Not a lot of exercise. Eating was ... ok.
Vents or celebrations? I feel like I've kind of given up. I had a lot of contractions last night, and I'm just so worried of making things worse. I've also been absolutely exhausted lately, which hasn't helped matters. Eating is back on track this week, though, and I think I've only gained 4-6 lbs since my last doctor's appointment a month ago, which I'm counting as a success pre-emptively (never really know, though, what the doctor's scale is going to say compared to my own). That puts me at about 31 lbs at 30ish weeks. I can live with that.
Goals for this week?
Log food in MFP at least M-F, get at least 5,000 steps/day each day.
How was your previous week? Pretty good! Had a couple days where I didn't get to run in the AM and so ended up running in the PM and it was miserable. I feel great when I run in the morning, however! Still getting my four runs in a week, with my longest being about four miles last week.
Vents or celebrations? Excited to hit 30 weeks next weekend. That really feels like the downhill slide. Passed my GD test with flying colors. Scale at the drs office showed I gained a little less weight than my scale at home :-)
Goals for this week? Continue with my four runs a week. Try to keep my longest at 4 miles since I have a 5k coming up in mid-May.
Well last week was a total crap shoot considering we were moving all week long!
I did get word that I did pass my GD test. I didn't expect anything else, but you never know.
Goals: eat better and drink water not gatorade! Thankfully I have not returned to my sweet tea habit! I've also been chasing my DD around the backyard a lot which is good fun exercise. I don't particularly care for exercise so I try to do it in fun ways like racing DD up the stairs!
Re: MHCI 4/28! You know you want to :)
So psyched
