So now I have a newborn and an 8-yr-old with a stomach bug to deal with. Baby was up from 3:30 - 5:00 so I am praying for some sleep at some point today!!!!

Thank you! Fortunately since he is older he is happy to hang out and watch tv while I feed baby, nap, etc. Right now he just has a stomach ache, but if actually starts getting sick then I may be in trouble!

@jenniferb123006‌ - sorry to hear that! Hope your newborn stays healthy. We had colds before I delivered and I still had the lingering cough on my induction day and in the hospital. It made recovery that much harder because I kept waking myself up coughing. So I hope you are feeling better soon!

That's funny, it's also our second day home alone and I had to pick up my nine year old from school because she puked in the cafeteria. I feel like a bad mom because she's sitting in front of the tv and my newborn is still sleeping in her car seat! I didn't want to wake her and I have about 72 loads of laundry to do. Good luck! I hope DS feels better soon and you can get some rest!

Yikes, *sparky*, that's rough. Hang in there and do what you need to do to survive. Hoping that DS gets well soon and you can grab some sleep in the meantime.

@Ashleypixie - that really stinks. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. No actual puking here, which I am happy about, but DS did spend most of the day watching tv or playing on his iPad.
